I watched America the Beautiful tonight. It caught my eye because of a personal reason and because I first started really paying attention to this a few months ago. It basically shows the same sort of thing, but in a less academic method. It was interesting to watch a model peak at the old age of 12 and what she went through as people told her she no longer fit the unrealistic ideal of the modeling world. Of all the interviews and segments of this movie, I liked Eve Ensler’s the most. She is generally positive. And rather than just railing against the machine, does something about it and has something positive to say in opposition.

Also, the Namibian woman referenced by Eve sounds hot. ;)
